Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Miami follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

There most likely will be a wait and you should definitely wait it out. The average is about 40mins around 10am on a Saturday. The staff was wonderful and you get to SEE bread being freshly baked every second. We went for it with fruit & yogurt, eggs Florentine, and baguette. We couldnβt finish it all but that baguette was LIFE. So delicious and perfectly warm and toasted! Gonna go back for the chocolate babka one day!!!!

Absolutely worth the hype. We stopped by on a Friday morning, and even though the place was packed, we waited less than five minutes for a table. You can tell this is one of those spots people make a point to visit. We had the avocado toast, the lox on a sesame bagel, a cappuccino, and a black coffee, and every single item was outstanding. The quality of the bread alone is enough to keep us coming back! The bread is freshly made in-house, with incredible texture and flavor. You can really taste the difference when the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced from Florida. Our server, Wesley, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. My only regret is that we were only in Miami for a short stay because there were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try. This is definitely a place weβll be returning to the next time weβre in town. 100/10.

Always busy to eat in or take out. Zak the Baker is an Independent Artisan Bakery in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami with a colourful building so easy to spot. Excellent selection of tasty house made breads and cakes. We went for Brunch and had I had the Sourdough Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque and my partner had the Eggs Florentine which was a Crispy Yuca Latka topped with braised ZTB Farmhouse Kale, Poached Eggs, Avocado Hollandaise, and Herbs. Great service and you can see the bakers making the fresh bread through the kitchen window.

Zak the Baker is a great example of how an amazing experience doesnβt have to come from a fancy or luxurious space. Instead of the typical upscale bakery atmosphere, the location feels more like an industrial warehouse where you can actually see much of the baking process happening around you. That authenticity is part of what makes the place so special. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The servers were attentive, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or make recommendations. The selection is outstanding. From freshly baked breads and pastries to excellent coffee and a wide variety of other bakery items, there is something for everyone. Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and worth trying. If you appreciate quality baking, great coffee, and a unique atmosphere that focuses on the craft rather than appearances, Zak the Baker is definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by at 2:30 after lunch nearby, it was busy and was an hour+ wait for a table BUT we just got some baked goods and espresso to go and that was very quick, they have a great selection of everything you can imagine as well as good coffee and beverage choices. It was bustling and fun to watch. A great stop for some desserts or breads. Almond croissant was really good, as were the flourless chocolate almond cookies, coconut macaroons and rugelach. Highly recommend! Prices very fair for high quality.
